Rev. Dr. Barry K. Berryhill, Sr
Rev. Dr. Barry K. Berryhill is an anointed man of God who loves the Lord with every fiber of his being. His passion is perfecting the call of preaching and teaching the inspired word of God to all people. He has adopted the motto: “A friend should show himself friendly.” A native of Hempstead, NY, Dr. Berryhill received his Christian roots at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Hempstead, NY (Long Island). He is the 7th son of 9 children, born to Joel Jr. (deceased) and Wealthy Berryhill. Dr. Berryhill has pastored two other churches; Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Vanceboro, NC and Zion Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Windsor, NC.
Upon graduation from college Dr. Berryhill served as an officer in the United States Army for 10 years. He is a recent retiree from Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
Dr. Berryhill has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Yankton College, Masters of Divinity from Shaw University and a Doctorate of Ministry Degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary.
Association for Covenant Pastors (KACP), NAACP, several Masonic organizations and is a PROUD member Nu Alpha Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Dr. Berryhill and his wife, Courtney reside in Greenville, NC. They have two adult children; son Keith Jr., and spouse Crystal, grandson’s Brandon and Brayden are currently assigned to Ft. Lee, Virginia, daughter Bianca and spouse Robert with granddaughters Kaylanni and Kourtney, and grandson Kayden who reside in San Antonio, Texas
